Osteopathy holds a unique place in fertility care at Maison de la Fertilité Strasbourg. Through gentle, precise manual techniques, the osteopath works to restore pelvic balance, improve the mobility of pelvic organs, and promote healthy vascularization of the reproductive system. This complementary approach is grounded in anatomical and physiological knowledge, aiming to create the best possible conditions for conception and pregnancy.
Alexa Wrzesinski, osteopath D.O. and psychosomatician, has over fifteen years of experience treating patients with fertility challenges, chronic pelvic pain, and endometriosis. A practitioner at CHU Hautepierre and CMCO university hospitals, she combines high-level clinical expertise with a careful attention to the psychosomatic dimension. Holding university diplomas in psychosomatics (Paris Diderot), perinatal pain management, and chronic pelvic pain (Nantes), she offers a comprehensive understanding of functional disorders and their impact on fertility.
Perinatal osteopathy is a key component of our care. Alexa Wrzesinski supports patients throughout pregnancy — body preparation for birth, relief of musculoskeletal tension — and during the postpartum period to promote recovery. Her work integrates fully into the multidisciplinary approach at Maison de la Fertilité, in close coordination with the team's gynecologists, midwives, and psychologists, ensuring a coherent and personalized care pathway.
